Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. Scribble is built with privacy in mind. This document explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your choices regarding your data when using the Scribble application for macOS and our website.
Scribble is a purely local macOS application. It is designed to work fully offline. We do not collect, store, or transmit any drawings, images, canvases, stroke data, vector inputs, or personal identification details to any external servers.
All drawings and creative assets you produce using the app remain locally stored on your Mac unless you explicitly choose to share them yourself using native macOS share features.
Scribble is sold and distributed through the Mac App Store. Payment processing, application downloads, and licensing validation are handled exclusively by Apple Inc.
Consequently, Apple collects certain transaction-related metadata as outlined in Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your billing details, credit cards, or physical address.
If you have explicitly opted into sharing crash logs and usage statistics with third-party developers through your macOS system settings, we may receive anonymized technical diagnostic data from Apple. This data contains no personally identifiable information and is used exclusively to troubleshoot bugs and improve application performance.
If you use the built-in sharing tools to export drawings via Mail, Messages, Freeform, or AirDrop, these actions are performed locally using macOS Native Share Sheets. Any data transmission is handled by the operating system and is subject to the privacy settings of the target application you choose.
We reserve the right to update our Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted directly on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App or website after we post any modifications will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide by and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding our privacy practices, please contact us through the App Support link on the Mac App Store product page for Scribble.
